Glycerin is derived from Palm Kernel Oil, Soy, tallow or other fatty acid sources. Crude Glycerin is a by product of biodiesel production and saponification. It can be produced synthetically, but due to oversupply it is generally not. In food glycerin is used as a humectant, solvent, sweetener and preservative. It is also used in pharmaceutical and veterinary formulations. Other applications include hand sanitizer, e-cigarette e-liquids, anti-freeze and alcohol-free botanical tinctures/extracts. Most USA produced glycerin is tallow or soy based. Material of SE Asian origin tends to be palm based.

Minimum orders are typically one drum for liquid materials and pallets for materials that ship in bags. Availability varies. Please call for details.
